TWM Live is thrilled to welcome back the winners of the heats for the Under 18 Battle of the Bands Grand Final! This exciting event will showcase the incredible talent of young artists from our local area, providing them with a supportive and nurturing platform to shine. Each band will perform a set of two songs, including one original composition.

The evening will be hosted by one of Colchester’s finest local bands, with a special guest performance by Pet Needs who will close the night with a short set.

Event Highlights:
– **Finalists:** Winners from the heats will compete for the top prize.

Order will be selected on randome on the night.

Guest Band: Pet Needs will perform a closing set.
Prizes:
– **1st Place:** Open the stage at the Brightlingsea Free Festival (expected attendance: 4,000), 60% of door money (after donation), a full day in the studio, and a fully mixed and mastered single at Black Cactus Studio.
– **2nd Place:** 30% of door money.
– **3rd Place:** 10% of door money.

**Event Details:**
– **Arrival:** Bands must arrive by 5:00 PM for line checks and random performance order draws.
– **Backline Provided:** Drum kit, 2 x guitar amps, and bass amp. Bands are required to use this equipment unless otherwise agreed.
– **Welfare Policy:**
– All under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
– Challenge 25 policy in place; coded wristbands will be issued.
– First aid-trained staff will be on-site to ensure safety.
– Any underage individuals suspected of consuming alcohol will be refused entry without a refund.

**Venue Information:**
– The top floor of Three Wise Monkeys is accessible via five short flights of stairs with rest opportunities. Please note there is no lift.
– Viewer discretion is advised: The event may include flashing and strobing lighting effects.

**Ticket Information:**
– All attendees (except band members) require a ticket to manage venue capacity. Pre-sale tickets are recommended to avoid disappointment.
– **Refund Policy:** No refunds will be processed within 7 days of the event.
