TWM Live presents Bag Of Cans Supported by Passable Profit, BlueFeed & Lauryn Dobinson at Three Wise Monkeys Colchester on Friday 21st April.

BAG OF CANS

Bag of Cans are a five-piece band birthed from the effervescent swamp which is the Norwich music scene. They have weaved their way through the musical ranks on a sound described as “a gloriously surreal mix of old school indie, Weimar Berlin cabaret and Kinks circa Village Green Preservation Society”, garnering a reputation for their invariably hectic live shows and on-stage antics. Sinewy guitar lines glide between a relentless rhythm section and a penchant for indie-pop vocal-harmonies.

Passable Profit: a Tribute to Pissabed Prophet

Passable Profit are the world’s finest tribute act to Pissabed Prophet, formed ahead of Pissabed Prophet becoming universally recognised as the world’s finest band later this year.

Melodious, chaotic, gloriously energetic, Passable Profit overflow with the raucous musical joy that will soon make Pissabed Prophet a household name. Imagine the Beach Boys backed by the Butthole Surfers.

The legendary Cllr Ben Brown (Dingus Khan, SuperGlu) performs as The Rev’d Matty Simpkins (Rev Simpkins, FuzzFace) while the notorious Rev’d Matty Simpkins (Rev Simpkins, FuzzFace) performs as Cllr Ben Brown (Dingus Khan, SuperGlu). Nick Daldry (Dingus Khan, Tottenham Hotspur) brilliantly replicates the masterful drum stylings of Nicholas Daldry (Dingus Khan, Tottenham Hotspur).

“Better than the real thing – POWER and MELODY! I was humbled to hear them open their mouths.” Jason Whittaker, Head Impresario at antigen recor

BlueFeed

Young up and coming three-piece indie rock band from Suffolk with an upbeat and bouncy sound influenced by a mix of 2000s indie and 60s rock. Their debut EP was released last year and since it’s release they were featured on BBC Introducing, they performed at Latitude, The Cambridge Junction, Wild Paths, Maui Waui festival and many more places.

“Their set was super upbeat, insanely catchy and infectious, instantly likeable with dirty basslines, bouncing drums, cute riffs, sparkling guitars, singalong choruses and enough playful energy you couldn’t help but tap your foot along.” – Click Roll Boom gig review

Lauryn Dobinson

Songwriter who draws inspiration from even the most (seemingly) innocuous experiences. She has a deep connection with her music, an outpour of emotion.
