BBC Introducing in Essex and Cambridgeshire is thrilled to announce a special showcase gig in celebration of Independent Venue Week 2025. This event will take place at the iconic Three Wise Monkeys in Colchester on Thursday, 30th January, bringing together some of the most exciting rising talents from the local music scene.

The Line-Up:

The Trusted: With their captivating sound and anthemic melodies, this Southend-based band has been making waves in the indie-rock world. Known for their electrifying live performances, The Trusted promise to bring energy and passion to the stage.
Only Zizou: A genre-defying artist blending intricate lyrics with innovative beats, Only Zizou has been gaining attention for his unique take on modern music. Expect a dynamic set that pushes boundaries and engages the audience.
Evy Frearson: A singer-songwriter with a soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics, Evy Frearson’s performances are both intimate and powerful. Her evocative songs are guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.
