The doors will open at 7pm, and tickets are available for £7 plus a booking fee per person. Gather your friends and form teams of up to five people to compete in the quiz.

There will be fantastic prizes to be won, so bring your A-game! Donations are also welcome on the day to support Izzy’s volunteer work as a student Optometrist in Blantyre, Malawi.

Izzy’s mission is to provide free vital eye care and distribute glasses to communities in need. In Malawi, there is a growing issue of preventable blindness due to diseases like cataracts and glaucoma. With limited access to surgery and medication, these conditions can have a devastating impact on people’s vision and quality of life.

By participating in this event, you’ll be helping Izzy and her team reach as many people as possible in southern Malawi. They will be visiting schools, villages, orphanages, and hospitals to provide prescription glasses, fund cataract surgeries, and refer cases to specialists.

Izzy believes that healthcare is a universal right and wants to make a difference in communities that lack access to essential services. Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. If you have any unused glasses frames or sunglasses, please consider donating them to help create new glasses for those in need.

If you’re local to Cardiff or East Anglia, keep an eye out for Izzy busking in town to raise money for this trip. She is also planning a charity gig in the next few months, so stay tuned for more details.
