Gurn Victim, performing their new album Welcome to the Scene in full at Three Wise Monkeys, Colchester. This release marks the culmination of the band’s three-year journey, captured through a concept album that explores the punk scene, the city of Colchester, and the band’s own experience coming up within it.

Welcome to the Scene is an unfiltered look at the place and culture that brought Gurn Victim together — celebrating the community that shaped them while also calling out its cracks and contradictions. It’s a raw, honest attempt to make sense of the scene, of themselves, and of the world around them. At its core, the album carries the same energy and excitement felt at that very first punk gig: chaotic, funny, loud, messy, and meaningful.
