Some bands make music because they want to, Sweet Unrest make music because they have to.

Exhilarating, energetic, emotional, entertaining, the indie-rock band will play their first ever Essex show as part of the promotion of their debut first vinyl release – a limited edition 7” featuring new single ‘Falling For You’ and the acclaimed track ‘Peace Of Mind’.

Sweet Unrest are the next in the that long line of great British Bands of the People – from the Rolling Stones to the Smiths, to Oasis to the Libertines, and you do not want to miss this gig.

Also on the bill are two fantastic bands from Colchester. Combat Sports is a grunge rock outfit who now how to put on a show. With an arsenal of tunes that recount the glory days of 90s grunge, the group have received airplay from the BBC and beyond, and really have to be seen live.

Butterfly Handshake have been making huge waves across the scene and have earned plaudits from local music scene icons Ben Howard and Neil D’Arcy Jones.

Also on the bill is Solitude Sometimes Is, a musician who melds poetic pretensions with punk-folk vibes. Debut album ‘Float’ was released in 2023 and features a host of amazing musicians including Elbow’s drummer Alex Reeves.
